April KGS+ Tournament, Asian/European Daytime division (Winner: RoyalCrown)

Welcome to the April KGS Plus tournament!

Swiss style, Simultaneous Schedule. This tournament uses the Swiss pairing system. The time settings are 40 minutes Main time plus 5 Byo yomi periods of 30 seconds (40m + 30s x 5). 1 round every 2 hours, Five rounds total, 3 rounds on the first day, 2 rounds on the second day. Prizes are given out every round, so even if you don't think you can win your division, you still have a chance at getting a prize!

IMPORTANT:

• 50 non-KGS Plus members will be allowed to join the Asian/European Daytime division, 30 non-KGS Plus members to the American Daytime division. KGS Plus members are always welcome!
• Players who have been previously disqualified from a KGS tournament are not allowed.
• You are allowed to attend ONLY ONE division.
• People who do not fullfill those conditions but register anyway may be disqualified anytime.
• Please be respectful to your opponents: late players will forfeit after 15 minutes -- rudeness or escaping will not be tolerated either.

Prizes

1. The winner of the Asian/European Daytime division will get a $24 gift certificate from Kiseido and 1 month of KGS Plus.
2. The winner of the American Daytime division will get 3 months of KGS Plus.
3. The runner-up of each division will get 1 month of KGS Plus.
4. The kyu player with the highest score in each division will get a $24 gift certificate from Kiseido and 2 weeks of KGS Plus. (The winners of the former prizes will not be taken into account here.)
5. The undefeated players (who didn't win one of the above prizes) get 1 month of KGS Plus.
6. Each round, 1 week of KGS Plus will be awarded at random.
